Cincinnati Opera is pleased to welcome composer Daniel Catán to share his thoughts on his critically acclaimed work, Florencia en el Amazonas. This opera follows the life of the heroine, Florencia, an opera singer who embarks on a mystical journey down the Amazon River. Cincinnati Opera will present the regional premiere of Florencia in July 2008.
Cincinnati Opera Guild brings you Opera Raps, a year-round, traveling lecture series featuring a guest speaker leading conversation on a specific production of topic related to Cincinnati Opera's upcoming Summer Festival. The atmosphere is casual, the tone is conversational, and curiosity is encouraged!
