Cincy Chic is bringing in a professional to open a window into this confusing world with a free "Dress Up a Naked Window" lunch 'n' learn session on August 20.
Lunch 'n' learn attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch from Panera Bread as they learn the tricks of the trade, and share in a window treatment Q&A session to enhance the look and feel of their windows. The luncheon speaker will be Kim Lyon with Exciting Window Accents (www.excitingwindowaccents.com), who has been working in the custom home decorating industry for more than 10 years. Lyon has extensive experience in the design, fabrication and installation of window treatments.
Lyon says this luncheon will be an interactive session for attendees to see sample treatments, get design style ideas and learn about upcoming trends. Attendees are encouraged to come with questions, as this will be a unique opportunity to interface with an industry expert. "At the event, I will offer tips to make their ready-made treatments look their very best," Lyon adds, "I'm also offering ideas prior to the event! The first three people to e-mail me a digital photo of their window treatment challenge will receive a complimentary design idea!" Design ideas can be e-mailed to kim@ExcitingWindowAccents.com.
The lunch 'n' learn event will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the Carew Tower 3rd Floor Learning Center from 12-1 p.m. Attendees can RSVP via e-mail to RSVP@cincychic.com, or by calling 513.721.2445. All RSVPs must be received by 5 p.m. on August 18. Seating is limited.
