The bar smells like stale beer, BO & cigarettes even though you can't smoke in there anymore) and it looks like a beat up fraternity house.

its kind of cheesy and the cover charge is not worth it.

Just have not ever had a great time there, upstairs is too packed, downstairs is always really empty. Have not been since the remodel, so maybe will have to try again sometime.

Had a couple of times when a group threw a racial slur at me. I had to leave to avoid trouble. I would have thought that the agressors should have left.

Though Longworth is a valid stop in a Mt. Adams pub crawl, I would not spend too much time there. This spot is filled with frat boy alums that are still living like they are in their college years. Sad. I think the bar is generic. There are so many other great bars to buy a brew, like Pavilion, Blind Lemon and my personal favorite, Alive One.

This place tends to get very crowded and personally worries me with fire safety - i.e. if on the 2nd floor and a fire broke out - other than that tiny little stairway, how do you get out???
