The Kevin Fox Band

The Kevin Fox band is an acoustic based, pop, roots-rock, Power Trio. Winners of two 2003 Cincinnati music awards "Songwriter of the Year" and "Best Roots Rock band". In 2002 lead singer Kevin Fox, joined with drummer Eric Betts to form the Kevin Fox Band. John Kays recently took over the spot of bass guitarist for the band. Together they have compiled 16 new songs for their debut CD “All over the place”. What sets them apart from most bands is their combination of catchy lyrics, interesting music, and the ability to jam when it's necessary. It's usually the catchy refrains combined with insightful verses and a sense of humor that earn them their fans . Their influences vary all the way from James Taylor to the Beatles, Dave Mathews to Nirvana to Van Halen and back again. Their style has been compared to bands like Bare Naked Ladies, John Mayer and Santana (when they go Latin). Either solo or with the KFOX band you're guaranteed to find something you love!
